Frida and Diego had a difficult relationship. When they argued Frida had her hair cut because her hair was one of the things Diego liked most. Here you can see some short-haired Frida pictures:
Frida y Diego tuvieron una relación difícil. Cuando discutían Frida se cortaba el pelo porque su pelo era una de las cosas que más le gustaba a Diego. Aquí podéis ver algunos cuadros de Frida con el pelo corto:

After one of their arguments they got divorced but they soon realised they couldn´t live separated and they got married again.
Después de una de sus discusiones se divorciaron pero pronto se dieron cuenta de que no podían vivir separados y se casaron otra vez.

We know that Frida used to paint herself surrounded by animals. She felt alone and many times she was only accompanied by her pets. Between her pets we can find monkeys (Fulang Chang o Caimito de Guayabal), dogs (Señor y Señora Xólotl), parrots and even deers.
Sabemos que Frida solía pintarse rodeada de animales. Se sentía sola y muchas veces sólo estaba acompañada por sus mascotas. Entre sus mascotas podemos encontrar monos (Fulang Chang o Caimito de Guayabal), perros (Señor y Señora Xólotl), loros e incluso venados.
It must have been a wonderful experience to live among so many exotic animals!!
¡¡Debió de ser una experiencia maravillosa vivir entre tantos animales exóticos!!
The kids drew the monkey and the flowers and they finally coloured it all:

The Mexican
folk artist found painted tin to be a versatile mean for creating decorative,
fun and colorful items. Their skills in tin punching and etching enable them to
create detailed works of art on a luminaria or creating brightly colored animal
sconces and mirrors.

In
this unusual self portrait by Kahlo, she seems to be experimenting with
"mixed medium". The self portrait of Frida and the blue background
are painted on a sheet of aluminum while the boarder of birds and flowers is
painted on the back side of a glass that lays on top of the portrait.
En
este inusual autorretrato, Frida parece estar experimentando con varias
técnicas a la vez. El autorretrato de Frida y el fondo azul están pintados en
una hoja de aluminio, mientras que los pájaros y las flores están pintados
sobre el vidrio que está encima del retrato.
Perhaps, we could try to do something related to this. Quizás, podríamos intentar hacer algo relacionado con esto.
We celebrated Day of Dead last week painting mexican skulls with felt-tips.
